VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Did anyone else attend the "That's Voiceover" conference in LA yesterday? I'm not a big conference-goer, but found this one to be very informative and quite fun! I'm sketchy on the history, but I believe this is their second annual, the first (last year) being in New York. I'm not sure what plans, if any, are in place for next year. There was a great discussion on audiobooks with Scott Brick and Jenna Mc(something), then a couple of panel discussions on vo in general. Talent panel included Joe Cipriano, George Delhoyo, Deve Fennoy, Cedering Fox, Jennifer Hale, Beau Weaver, and Bill Ratner. tThe power panel included Vanessa Gilbert (President, TGMD), Carroll Kimble (casting), Jeffrey Weinstock (VP ABC Family), and Nancy Wolfson (you know...). Lots of great information and I even ran into a fellow VO-er from my home town! I'd love to hear anyone else's comments, if you went!

All I can say is that Facebook was ablaze with positive reactions from friends and panelists alike.

Seems like it was a fun event. Sad I couldn't go.
