Since this thread has already been totally hijacked - ironically, from a fella who is too polite to hijack other people's threads -
What's the story behind your new avatar Deebs? |

Do I have to drag this out of you??
Any particular reason for her? Like, DBC is the voice of Czarina Svletlanovskaya Stravinskyana in the Return of Nikolai Part II from Hasbrovinski Games??? |

No, it's nothing special, you goose.
I'm calling myself "Board Czar" these days, and I don't have any particular love for Ivan the Terrible or Nicholas, so I went for a feminine image. _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

I had a call from an agency in Bahst'n this week asking me what my rate was for a radio spot that would run one week for the Boston market.
After asking her three times to say the name of the agency, I think she thought I was being rude and frankly I'll be surprised if she calls me back with the actual job. I also quoted her scale (plus the usual percentages), so that might have something to do with it.
But seriously, I could NOT understand what she said. _________________ Playing for a living...

While we're in hijack czar mode, my Russian great grandfather brought over a bunch of colored photos of friends and family. My current friends and family tell me this has to be a great great grandfather or uncle based on looks alone (yikes!):
Why he's got a clump of what looks like broccoli in his right hand, I'll never know.
Well here's vodky in your eye!

It's a band with whom I'm completely unfamiliar, but was included on a log for some voicetracks I did recently.
Here's another bunch of words I have trouble saying: "for all your ____ needs..." _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

I figured it was the band but wasn't sure. I like some of their stuff.
I have no problem physically speaking the words "for all your ____ needs" but mentally as a sort of copywriter I have a lot of problems with the trite phrase. _________________ Hart Voice Overs Blog

We always laugh at "for all your ______ needs" as though you HAVE "Memorial Day needs" of "Father's Day needs".
Meh.
