I bought a 14 foot firewire cable to get my PC further away from where I record.

Before: www.tomdheere.com/RoomTone.wav

After: www.tomdheere.com/Sample1.wav

It sounds cleaner to me!

Rognog...

Sounds cleaner to me as well. You're getting there!

Thanks Dave!

If that is the case, it's cleaner because of the greater distance, the new Belkin cable (it has Quad-Shielding construction, a Signal Pair Shield, and an Outer Shield) or both. The big question is, is it clean enough?

Tom... I gave it a quick listen and in comparison it sounds perfectly usable to me!

Now we just gotta get you working on those "p's" Wink ... one step at time though!

Good work... I know how frustrating it can be when your gear doesn't cooperate... Just consider this a very small piece of a very large that will innevitably play out throughout your career.

Cheers,

Brian

Thanks Brian!

Sounds like I need to buy a pop filter or McGyver one. Any suggestions?

Look for something that fits your needs as far a goose neck lengthe etc.., but i would also suggest going for one with a double screen.

Happy Shopping

Brian
