My advice to beginners is:
1) Practice smiling while you're reading.
2) Give yourself space to gesture.
These things will help you sound natural behind the mic.

That is exactly what I've been doing I read about using gestures and how smiling just helps to make it sound more friendly. I definitely noticed a difference when I started doing that. |

Not too familiar with Ohio... it just happens to be underneath the turnpike between Pennsylvania to Indiana. Jean Zarzour appears to have a pretty good pedigree, according to V123 and a Google search. Looks like you'll be in good hands. _________________ "Bailey"

I haven't heard of her, but then I wouldn;t have as it's way out of my area. You can do telecoaching at EdgeStudio.com if you want to explore other options. |

Don't know the lady but having done a little homework, were it a choice between Jean and Edge Studios I'd go to Jean - A very safe pair of hands. |

Working voice over, experienced singer and actor, has the "years in", has teaching cred in the business and in the education field. Her voice reel is testimony to the quality of her work, the fact she works on ISDN a testimony to the fact she is in demand.
Compare pilots. A private pilot sounds impressive to a non pilot but not to a fully qualified 747 Captain. Nothing wrong with The Edge but Jean the 747 Captain would be the person flying me home. |
