That sounds... wait, what?
What is the cost, by the way? Couldn't find that. I wonder how it compares with Word2Wav, which I use and which changed my life. I bought it last summer when I was starting a project that would result in 20,000 files - an unimaginable amount of work without a program like that.
Competition in the marketplace is good. |

Looks like an interesting product for anyone doing prompt work. Unfortunately, no Mac version at the moment. You say "fairly inexpensive", but for the life of me I can't see how much it costs. I don't like products where they obfuscate the price! Maybe it's me being unobservant _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

I clicked BUY NOW and waited for the bomb to drop. £39 which is about $60. |

Strange... the price is quite reasonable if it works the way they say. The decision to hide it in the bowels of the purchasing process seems to be designed to put people off ... to be honest, I was half expecting a £199 bombshell. If it were me, I'd plaster £39 on the front page... especially if they're targeting professionals who are currently using, or considering, Word2Wav. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

I'd have to download the trial version to test it, bit 2 things are a bit of a concern:
"save the script as a text file"
"If you accept the recording, the file will be saved and simply renamed according to the words in the script.
It looks to me that it names the files per the script text....not sure how you can tell it to name the files something other than what's in the script itself, as opposed to a specific name....this looks more like the difficulty that came with VoxStudio had as opposed to ease of the importing process of Word2WAV.
Will try & do some research.
The price is certainly right! _________________ Liz de Nesnera O.A.V. ~ Livin' The VO Dream!

It is. Right under where it says "Cover the Cost in Under Two Hours." _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.
