VO-BB - 20 YEARS OLD!

Dumb question? Not really. A few days ago a production company sent a request for new material so they could sell me to more clients. Did I have anything? ...er..yeah... but no... but yeah but ..what happened was..

Did I have anything?

I trawled my audio archive and pulled out some odds and ends of audio and sent them. Suitable? Every clip when sent to someone else resulted in me getting me work.

What am I good at? OHFERGOODERNESSAKE If I knew that I wouldn't be faffing about as a Voiceoverist.

I'm not having a crisis of confidence but it crossed my mind that were I asked to produce a new demo for myself I don't believe I could do it.

Until I am able to scale this high prison wall my only method of getting work will remain picking up the telephone and saying "Hello, Philip Banks" then listening politely, seems to be effective.

Right ..wittering over..carry on.

wow. i had that VERY thought this morning. THIS very day. i SHOULD produce a new demo ... do i have "stuff"? yes, there is "stuff". enough "stuff" to drive a guy mad.

Luxury! My needles are so hot they've set fire to the haystack, I have burned fatally to the point of being killed to death and all that without ever being kissed!!

Poor people baked potatoes on the embers of what remained of my needles and haystack, supped ale, sang songs of Voiceoverists left wi'nowt but their cloth caps, pet Ospreys and four farthings to bribe the Gatekeeper o' the Workhouse to take them in.
