I would be too. Your narration made this piece, though I'm not sure of its intended purpose. Art is subjective after all. |

Thank you Benjamin.
I'm guessing that they may be got so caught up in creating the animation (nice images) that they lost the narrative. Does that make sense?
I know a number of VO people who are so wrapped up in their SOUND that they fail to communicate anything or as Bob Souer would probably put it, fail to tell the story. |

Yeah, guess I'm in the same camp as Benjamin here.
Philip, I really, really liked your laid-back restraint on the narrative.
I'm biased in terms of 3D animation since my wife IS an animator (for the Weather Channel). I loved the design elements and stylism of this, but thought the animation was the weak link.
And Philip, if you enjoy art, by all means check out this astounding documentary and let me know what you think:

I promise you, the things you'll see in it will defy belief. _________________ Scott R. Pollak

Just watched the trailer for the above and that was enough to get me going. Looks superb! Thanks for passing on the info. |

Very nice read Philip...very Ken Nordine-esque, but clearly your own.
It appears to be an animation work in progress judging by all the partial and early-stage videos on their YT page.
And OH YES...the origami documentary is really quite wonderful. It's in Netflix's Instant Watch library.
