I can say in all honesty that my wife and I share the load of cluttering up the house. I'm usually the one that gets tired of looking at it first and does a room or two. She actually prefers to do the bathrooms.
She travelled a lot the last 2-3 years and it was hard adjusting to taking care of the two kids myself, but we soon got into a routine that worked for us. We had all the things for dinner that Mommy hates and the kids love. It just got to me when she'd tell me about conversations she had with certain friends about her travels and they'd ask "ohmygosh! Who watched the kids for you??"

I hate that! as though the Father is some excess baggage.
Or when the Father is on active child duty, people call it "baby sitting".

Yeah. Andrea usually has to remind them that I can handle things like that. It's like when I go to a client site to fix their network and they're shocked that my wife works and doesn't stay home with the kids...
Ever since "Full House" went off the air, it's just been all downhill for paternal role models on TV, too. _________________ Greg Littlefield

Good God-- are you traveling back in time when you meet these clients?
Women at home are the exception these days!
I swear-- I am the only at-home Mom in my entire neighborhood.
Are young men still using the old trick of doing domestic things badly on purpose so their wives won't ask them to help any more? _________________ DBCooperVO.com |

If any man answers this you are betraying the entire gender. You are one of us. Now and forever. |
