I was asked earlier today if I would do a spot for a well-known global brand that would run for 90 days through Spotify... for $140.

Reactions, anyone?

I do spots for Pandora for a similar rate.

I've heard some really bad VO's on Spotify ads. P's poppin and background hiss and reads that sound like some guy off the street. And I don't mean that in a Ted Williams way, or a "we want a non-announcer, everyday guy type of read" way. It can be brutal. But there are some decent spots too here and there.

Never voiced anything for Spotify but we are massive Spotify fans in this house - biggest bargain on the internet. Can't recall the last time I bought a CD.
