Old Queenie does her best... bless 'er cotton socks.

The whole exchange rate thing is a real pain when you have to deal with it on a regular basis though. It's great when it works to your advantage, but I've got a small amount stashed over in the UK, and when needed I can dip into it... that was really good not so long ago when one of my dwindling supply of pounds would get me two bucks, but at $1.57, my reserves have taken one hell of a nose-dive recently... I'm really hoping that the rate re-adjusts itself by the time my UK pension starts-up! Did I say pension? ... Jeeez, I'm not old enough to start worrying about that stuff am I? _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

Worst situation for me was I was quoting in US Dollars to a client in Dubai, client paid me in Dirhams (UAE dollars). The conversion rate is 1,000.00 Dirham = 272.29 USD.

OUCH

We split the difference on that first bill and ever since (three years now) I make sure I put USD on my invoices. _________________ Moe Egan

Wow, Moe, ouch is right! Thanks for the tip about putting "USD" on the invoice. I'm going to add that to my list as well.
