Oh, the things we do and get paid for. The folks for whom I recorded some video game voices in the fall have released compilations of a bunch of the voices for the game and the audio is posted on YouTube with artwork of the creatures/heroes. These are hour long sessions cut down to about ten minutes of final takes, no music, some audio effects. You've got to be a real aficionado to want to listen to the full run (multiple versions of lines, grunts, death blows given and received), but some might want to get an idea of what these sessions produce.

I was turned on to these by a fellow board member, and maybe he and others here who worked on the game would like to post links too?

bruce...this looks/sounds familiar. is this torchlight 2? i thought i remember an "alchemist" being one of the characters on the scripts i saw. wonder if any of the characters i did voice got similar treatment.

good acting job, by the way. ride that big lunk.

Hi Guys,

I'm the other member and I'll have to admit You've got to be a real aficionado to listen through them all, but I'm happy to share.

My son plays this game (and many others) and is always finding these for me. I heard Bruce on another game we both did voices for (I play many fewer characters than him there). Here are my characters from DotA 2. The first one is the trailer, but they say he might make the game too. Who knows?
