Someone named JEN GOSNELL told me about this cheese which sounded so intriguing that I had to try it.

OMG WHAT A TASTE.

Wow. so good, to tangy, so sweet.
Just wanted to say "Thanks!"

Why not wash it down with that new chocolate/bacon milkshake.

... Some foods need to be declared sacred.

See, everyone thinks I'm moving to LA for my career.

SO not the case...it's 100% for Trader Joe's. I miss it. I need it.

Our mutual friend Kevin posted about this cheese on Path. Must try!!!!

I was helping out a chocolatier friend last year and was introduced to the heavenly delights of her home-made chocolate covered bacon... evidently it was selling really well.

Evidently if a couple come into the shop, the girl goes all misty-eyed over the regular selections, while the guy will suddenly have his enthusiasm for life re-kindled when offered a small sample or the porcine delight.

After all the choco-cheese talk here and on Facebook, I had to dash over to my neighborhood Trader Joe's and buy me some. I can now confirm it is fabby!
And I will further state that a chunk of chocolate cheddar with a touch of Trader Joe's Seville Orange marmalade as a condiment is fabbier still.

You're the same guy who used to make those white bread, mayo, and potato chip sandwiches in the cafeteria, while we all watched in horror, aren't you?

Today's treat: TJ's choco-cheddar in a grilled cheese with bacon.

The thing is... I'm not even sure if Lee's joking or not. I hope not, because that sounds really tasty... especially with sourdough bread.... and then served with a squirt of maple syrup.

I was not joking. Sourdough would have been excellent but all I had was a sandwich roll that was pretty much past its prime. After slicing a small sliver of crust off the top and bottom to make it more bread-like, it grilled up OK. A squirt of maple syrup probably would have enhanced it, as would yet another application of that marmalade.

I like peanut butter and cheddar sandwiches, and who doesn't like peanut butter and chocolate, so that may be the next combination I try.

And we New Englanders are known for enjoying a slice of apple pie garnished with a slab of cheddar. I'll bet this stuff would be right dandy in that application.

They ain't go no Trader Joe's in Utah. We's a hick state with no good taste.

I have to leave and find a place where adulthood is legalized.

The (price) label on my chunk reads "Cheddar Chocolate February Spotlight" so there's a chance the stuff will be gone by late March, especially if people take to hoarding.
