Corporate for Boots (UK drug store chain)
National TV and radio commercials for Carpet Right
TV promos for Horror channel
Acty bit for a film (voice only)
Promo for Boots (see above)
Documentary about people who climbed mountains
Tag line for Deloitte. "Take a look at security. It starts with you". It was very taxing.
IVR for Darwa Private Banking.
Interesting bit - The acty bit was a man reflecting on his life and Dan, the director was floundering. We tried a few times to get the piece to work but it wasn't happening.
As Dan launched into another monologue about the piece I stopped him.
"I've had an idea, I'm going to go all "method" on you. I'll listen politely to your direction then ignore everything you've said and proceed to do it as it feels. I'm killing this by thinking about it."
"Works for me!"
"Am running" said Mike the sound.
When I'd finished.
"That was beautiful. I think we're done, thank you" said Dan, you could hear the broad grin.
On the slate yesterday - Less thinking, more feeling. |

Over-thinking is the enemy of... well, just about everything except algebra. Thanks for a great illustration of that.
On a side note... to this day, I cannot see a reference to Boots without thinking of the old joke... "Have you tried Boots?" - A Brit schoolboy thing that refuses to go away.
