Where'd that thread go?
I have a Geforce FX 5200 video card I don't need. And it's useful for us since it doesn't have a fan to make noise. _________________ Jeff

I have an MXL "Mic Mate". Similar to a Micport Pro but without a headphone jack. Phantom powers any mic and inputs it to your 'puter via USB.
I've never used it. Maybe there's someone just getting started who could? _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

i have and have used the Mic Mate Pro many times for quick auditions or newscasts, stuff that doesn't require top of the line audio, and it works just fine. i carry in my bag when I go around town, just in case. it is only 16-bit though.
Mine even seemed to have a little less noise than my slightly older Mic Port Pro |
