Iain, commercial producer after I mentioned I was the voice of the TV and radio campaigns "Mmmm. that's flexible". What made me laugh was his tone of voice which was in the style of "oh! An email about paper clips" |

Sometimes we do something worthy, meaningful, interesting or educational.
Sometimes we pay the bills. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

Here in the UK a national radio and TV campaign like Carpet Right can pay several Guineas. Thanks to their ad agency all my staff have had a salary increase of 1 shilling per week, even the Tweeny. |

There's lots of those sorts of gigs to be booked. I do ton's of 'em. What's best is when they come back again and again...year after year. I've had a regional furniture account in Virginia for ages. Good, steady work...and a nice friendly relationship that's grown over the years. _________________ Wicked huge.....in India.

That's what I took away from it - you only have to pay for 40 pounds of carpet and you get 100 pounds worth. That's weird, I mean, you'd think they'd sell it by the square foot... _________________ My full name is Karl Kuhlken (think Macauly Culkin...it rhymes)

OMG, how did I not see this till now? Or should I say, WOW!
I love it!! Is it wrong that I laughed? 'Cause I did. I am actually still grinning over here. Way more than I would be if I'd just gotten an email about paper clips.
How fun! Thanks for posting, Philip! _________________ jen@jengosnell.com
