Hey folks- post-FaffCon, I'm considering some updates to my demo reel. I'd like to get some feedback from you lovely folks on what works and what doesnt. I've gotten some great feedback already via other channels and I have my own thoughts, but I'd like to hear your perspective also.

I'm considering dropping some of the pieces here, keeping the strong ones and potentially recutting one or two as I think my delivery chops have improved some since I recorded it.
Of course, I could be overthinking it and it may still be a solid reel. So, I come to you folks!
Thanks again. _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow

I am no veteran but I'll give you my 2 cents!
Overall I really liked it! You did a good job and keeping the dynamics and transitions between clips interesting.
I am of the group who thinks commercial demos should be no longer than 60 seconds. I know yours is just a few seconds over and, of course, it's not going to prevent you from getting a gig or anything. After much research and opinion gathering I think 60 seconds flat is "ideal."
I think the guinness spot should be moved up earlier in the demo, it's one of the best spots in the demo. I do like the last "disclaimer" read but I feel like the demo doesn't really need it.
Although it's different than the other clips I don't love the "having trouble finding a job.." spot.
Those are the only things I could really "criticize." But none of the items I mentioned are super important to the demo's success. Just small things.
Great job man! _________________ http://jordanreynolds.com |

I agree with Jordan. Something really natural like the Guinness spot should go first and the disclaimer piece is unnecessary. The others all seem fine to me, but always feel free to update as new bits become available.

Thank you both very kindly, your feedback is sincerely appreciated. I'm going to be working with Mr. Burns next week on an update to it and I'll follow up here with the results! _________________ Corey "Vox Man" Snow
