All in all the convenience of having devices like the im2 and the Apogee MIC to use in conjunction with the iPad, iPhone and Twisted Wave has been impressive, but I'm still finding a certain muddiness that doesn't quite give me the results I'm looking for. Fairly deep baritone voice and not very sibilant
I'd be interested to know if anyone has any recommended EQ adjustments with the Twisted Wave filtering FX.. |

ok. after playing with it a bit, the TW iphone a with these settings gives the VO a bit of clarity and crispness, and can bring the signal up somewhat
normalize @ -3db,
high pass @ 70Hz
high shelf @ 1700khz, -3db gain ( anything higher raises the noise floor, to taste)
dynamics compressor - threshold @ -12db - -17db for a bit of compression, expansion threshold -30db for a bit of gating
