Client requested a recording of a DJ coming back on the air after a power loss of unknown origin... and then a loss of power again at the end. 1st recording is verbatim, 2nd recording is my interpretation... he is very flexible.
Please, I'd like a critique of both recordings... ways to improve... and how to stop all the "s" sounds.
Ignore the above links....Had to move the audios...

I wish I could give you exact advice on the S thing. I do it every once in a while and it shocks the heck out of me. I just make sure my diction is extra precise for a bit and it doesn't happen again. Maybe it's a soft tongue against the back of the front teeth?
As far as the acting thing, if you're a laid back kind of guy on a laid back kind of station you're read is OK. Otherwise I'd consider putting more of that d.j. energy into it, and I'd consider taking the smallest of pauses between statements as though you're going through all the bits of information on paper and in your head. Basically add a little drama. You have a little bit of fear and concern, but as the voice on the radio you're there to reassure everyone.
