Sony Creative Software is now offering royalty-free production music:

At $49.95 per track (you get full-length plus :10, :30, and :60 versions for that price) it's a little steep compared to some options, but at least you don't need to buy a whole library only to find a handful of useful tracks. Judging from the tracks I've auditioned, it seems to be a little higher quality stuff than Digital Juice (whose products I have a ton of and use often)... I'll definitely be adding them to my list of music resources next time I'm producing a spot and need something new. _________________ Chris Rice - Noisemaker

I've been going through them and trying to decide if it is worth the price. I agree that they are of a higher quality but I'm still on the fence. Thanks for the heads up on your thoughts! _________________ 006 member of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Mic. Bonded by sound.

Interesting. Anyone familiar with Boomdizzle"s My Connect Studio that is being packaged with a Sony laptop. Boomdizzle allows musicians to record together online. Sounds a bit like some other online recording software we've heard of. Wonder what the quality is like? _________________ Gregory Best
