Anyone use Virtual Audio Cables (VAC), to do a Skype phone patch?

I tried to implement JACK, as in Justin's well laid blog post, but can't get it working with AA 3.0 on Win7. I first heard about VAC on this forum - anybody get a "virtual" phone patch working on Win7, or with Audition?
