|
|
Greetings all,
I would really appreciate if anyone can tell me if I can/how to get a static waveform of my room tone from Twisted Wave? Any and all responses are appreciated!
With kind regards,

Hey SteveO,
I know Twisted Wave pretty well ... and I'm not sure I understand the question? Do you mean something different than just recording the room tone for 30 seconds and then magnifying the waveform so that you can see it more clearly?
Give me a call at (416) 716-2246 if you would like me to talk you through it ... _________________ Graeme Spicer

What information are you hoping to glean from this "static image"? Curious (George). _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Howdy George and Graeme!
Thanks you for your kind rep lie. I am trying to get a spectrum analysis out of TwistedWave like the one I can get out of Audacity. I guess I am hoping for 'feature parity' in this area between the two pieces of software....
Regards,
Steve O'Sullivan

Can't do it without a 3rd party plugin.
How about Vonexgo SPAN. I just found this company, super sweet and FREE?!
Notice the "Get more effects..." link in the TwistedWave Effects/Audio Units menu? Takes you to some amazing resources. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Just downloaded Twisted Wave for my iPad2, and purchased an Apogee MiC. I'm truly amazed at how good it sounds. Will be in Paris for a week, and will take along this SMALL rig for emergencies.
By the way, is there an updated user manual for the latest version 1.4.3? I don't see any reference to compression, eq etc in the version presently available for download on the twistedwave website.
