Hello everyone. I posted my website a while back with a photo of me. I have since come up with a little different concept.
Let me know what you think. I'm still working on branding, but I think this will work good in the interim.

Looks polished and professional to me, Jason. As far as I'm concerned it ought to serve you well until you have something else you feel strongly about changing to.
Demo sounds great as well. Congrats! _________________ jen@jengosnell.com

Fabbiness!
"Free" is a great retailer/marketeer trick. You move yourself down a few hundred pro-ranking points by using (in your case) "free demo". If people want them, they'll ask. |

I'd also reverse the colors of the bottom bar. Everything else is a dark background with light text, so this bar at the bottom stands out and draws the eyes away from the critical things like your demos and contact information. I'd make it a dark background with light text like everything else.

All great advice, and I will heed it quickly. That all makes really good sense. Thanks for the kind words! |

Alright. I made a couple changes. I have to get my web guy to design a new bottom bar. I'm thinking I'll just use the top bar without the badge and "digital rain."
I'm also going to have him add a floating text box under the demos to add some text. Maybe share a brief comment on my voice, experience, and client quotes that cycle through.
Thanks for all of your help thus far! I really like where the site is at. |

It's simple, I like it. The only couple of things that spring to mind are firstly GET YOUR PHONE NUMBER UP!! If a producer needs to get hole of you for a gig ASAP, you would hate to think of them not being bothered to email you and moving onto the next guy because they can't call you. Don't give anyone an excuse not to get in touch.
Secondly, Although your pic/branding looks good, I'm confused. When listening to you reel I get a current, cool, hip voice with bags of energy and dynamism but your glitzy mic/hat combination is reminiscent of Frank Sinatra or lounge and jazz singers. The current, hip, coolness of your reel just doesn't fit with the 40's hat and mic to me. Sorry Jason but I find it contradictory. Your reel itself sounds mega though! _________________ https://www.darrenaltman.com/

Thanks for the insight! I fully agree. I'm in the process of finding a good vector illustrator to go a different direction. Also, the phone number was up there...I'll have to talk to my web guy to see where it went.
Thanks! |

Actually, I like the hat very much --At least here in the US, it's the universal symbol of hipster. Nobody will mistake you for a baby boomer. Really like the black & white with subtle color bars. |
