I seldom post, but I though I would share a strange Audition offer! Something does not look or feel right about this project. The website is up for just over a month with success stories galore! I smell a skunk!

So I check the site and observe what looks like a Scam site. The only real point of contact is a direct 800 number, so I thought what the heck...the Guy answers and say's Hello...can I help you"...I ask, is this Midnight Auto Parts...he say's HELL No! Nice guy LOL!

Do you ever investigate audition opportunities to see if they are real? Do you ever check YouTube for projects that could be flying without payment or notification that you HAD been selected for that audition and that client just forgot to responded or pay? Thankfully I have never been slighted, and never had a client fail to pay.

Just a few thoughts for today.

I've checked up on a few companies before. I won't audition for anything I believe to be an all out scam (i.e. "Hi, my name is ______ and I'm going to let you in on a little secret that the ________doesn't want you to know...") You see a bunch of them on the P2P sites, usually with inflated budgets. Oh, and they usually want you to read the *full* script for the audition. Um. No.
