Happy Thanksgiving and Holiday y'all.
Just curious, what recording levels work best for you? Other than setting your mic gain not to peak over 0db and such, but going into your DAW?
I'm using Adobe Audition 3, and I try to maintain between -15 and -18, is that a good or bad thing, or should it be higher?
Not sure if this topic has been covered before, haven't quite mastered the search function of this forum:) _________________ www.jjwright.com |

That's a bit low. I would recommend peaks at -6db, with nothing every higher than -3db, and then normalizing after to -3db. |
