"Thank you, Philip, they're fine"
Session duration 6 minutes.
Be honest, doesn't happen like that every day, does it? |

Hey, when you break that down into an hourly, you're doing as well as some professional athletes. I love those kinds of sessions.
I've voiced and engineered a few where the (usually new) producer will tell the talent after the first take: "That's great, thanks." I usually suggest they get another "just in case". You know, in the event there was a glonk that the talent wasn't aware of.
Sorry, Orson. |

Nope, not quite. In fact, some days when I have the simplest tasks I can't quite seem to nail it to my satisfaction, i.e. ...Brought to you by Wisconsin Dells, the water park capital of the world... good doG, I cut it like 27 times until I liked it. Picky, picky, picky. But those six-minute sessions balance it out! _________________ sitting at #8, though not as present as I'd like to be. Hello!

Ahhhh, the memories!!
Reminds me of the first VO session I did. Cut a campaign spot for my mic-shy cousin Glen.
We got to the local radio station 15 minutes before the original start time, sat down & cut it. Proud to say, did 'er in one take while the eventual winning candidate did it in 8! Left the station at the time we were gonna start! lol
