I need someone to edit a 10 hour audio book for me this week, and all of the regular editors I know of are booked solid right now. If you're interested, and experienced in editing fiction with dialogue (I'm concerned about the timing being right), email me or call. The book is due Friday, eek!

Everything is done in wav format with zero processing. My accuracy rate is pretty good so it shouldn't be a slog at all, and I'm not a heavy breather (at least not on a mic)!

Many thanks,

B

Have you tried Jeff Bowden? He comes recommended by Dick Hill (one of the legends of the biz) and is surprisingly affordable.

Don't have his direct info, but here's his facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.bowden1?fref=ts

You could try Jake Walther. He's an audio intern at Buzz Cut Audio and VoiceBox Talent, and recently started working audiobooks.

To be honest, I haven't worked directly with him yet - just heard samples of his work and grilled him via email - but I've been impressed enough that he's the one I'll be using when I land my first non royalty-only audiobook.

His quoted rate is $50 pfh, $75 pfh for rush jobs.

Thank you all so much for your offers and suggestions. I'll keep them all on file. I've got someone for this book now.
