a small problem, but nothing to rival world conflict ...

the foam on one earpiece came off, whizbang just like that. i haven't futzed with it too much but am wondering if a) this has happened to your headphones and b) how you re-affixed them.

i can't quite ascertain whether the piece stretched over to fit into a slot ... or there was some adhesive that has broken down.

any input you have is welcomed!

It's the only major design flaw I've found with the Sony cans.

It looks like it takes about 12 fingers to get them back on, but now with lots of practice under my belt I can usually do it in less than a couple of minutes. They hook just over the ridge and once you get about half of it in position you hold what you've got done down with all the fingers of one hand and then bit by bit pull the rest over the ridge with your other hand.

If all else fails send them to Emma. She's done it for me in about 30 seconds.

Diane - these are awesome. They go on top of your failing covers and are really comfortable. Well worth the price. I've got em on 7506s.

So sorry I'm late on this, but here are two places to get perfect replacements for the 7506 pads. These are made of velour and the foam is more dense, resulting in more exclusion of outside sound and fuller bass.
