Our latest addition... Mandi.

We've had Mandi almost 6 weeks. She was sitting at the animal shelter... not barking... not jumping up and down... but just staring at me. That's all it took. We believe she had been in a puppy mill. She appears to have had at least one litter. Now she has been spayed... micro chipped... and soon to be groomed. The Vet puts her at 18 to 24 months old... 16.5 pounds...Maltese/Terrier mix. And to our surprise, with all that hair, she doesn’t shed at all!

Bailey, she's beautiful. I'm so glad you found her and took her home (and I'll bet she is too). It's amazing what wonderful dogs you can find at a shelter. I found Farfel at a shelter here in Toronto when he was about 18 months and can't imagine why anyone would have wanted to give him up. Anyway, enjoy!

We got Dottie last April. Rat Terrier/Fox Terrier mix. Likes to chew (grrr!) but is too sweet for words.

Three cats preceded her arrival by years, I'll dig up shots of them a bit later.

I've got a new addition coming soon! Pam and I will be getting a Malti-Pom (maltese/pomeranian) at the end of the month. My youngest sister has a Malti-Pom (Polly) and she had four puppies, three female and one male. I'll be getting one of the females and we'll call her "Molly." I'll put some pics up as soon as I bring her home.

By the way Bailey, my sister says the Maltese dogs do not shed.

They stay like that most of the time, no foolin'. One dog fancier informed me that it's due to her lineage: Fox terrier = floppy, Rat Terrier = pointy.

You want cuteness overload? Roll the tape.

Wow-- this was on CuteOverload today.

If you're stressed out at all just take a look at this video.
It's a minute of bliss.
