I'm not sure whether to laugh or be scared.
Hmmmm?
I think I'll do a nervous laugh, slightly nasal with a higher pitch with a slight studder.

...or as a producer friend of mine once heard a director instruct a VO talent (a direct quote here) "I want it to sound more paisley."
