I could use some help testing the compatibility of my new site, temporarily hosted here: http://test.kendrasvoice.com before it goes live. Particularly Android devices and PCs, 'cause it's Mac all the way down at our house.

General feedback is, of course, always welcome too.

demos are not playing for me - mac/lion/chrome/safari/firefox

middle video - top row (vimeo link) is acting up in chrome

i love the design & font - the whole monochromatic thing with the clients is cool too.

Demos played fine for me on Chrome. And sounded good!

Looked great on Android chrome. I did have to click on the name of the demo to have the player appear (that may be intentional). I totally get the clean concept, but someone without the initiative to actually try to click the box may get confused.

Love the look and colors though! Nice and clean.

Demos didn't show at all for me (Chrome on Windows 7)

Try replacing your player with JW Player ( http://www.longtailvideo.com/jw-player/ )... it's cross-platform compatible with nearly everything. Works with audio and video too.
Take a look at my site for a sample configuration.

Also, for checking the look of the site on various browsers, try this site:
http://browsershots.org/

The site looks good, but watch how much flash and javascript you're using. Not the best for compatibility and SEO.

Hope this helps,
Joe

...hi, kendra

works fine on my PC.

on my android tablet, the demos play just fine, but the text and titles are all over the place and overlapping each other.

don't know if that's just my equipment or a design flaw.

(LOVE your commercial demo especially. did anyone help you with it?)

Update!

... actually, the demos on the main page work, but I had to click on them to get the player to appear (not intuitive).

The demos on the demo page don't come up at all for me.

(videos seem to work ok)

All demos/videos play fine, except for top middle video. Says I need Adobe Flash to view. I'm using a Kindle at the moment - ergo no flash player. Website looks great.

Thanks everyone - I've passed the comments to my web developer. If anyone sees anything else weird, please add it to the list. I've got until Friday when she leaves the country for a week. Shocked

Rowell, thanks for the compliment on the commercial demo. Two words: Nancy. Wolfson.

Demos are fine. Nancy's worth the time and expense.

Your web dev? Not so much.

Cruel? Not really. Don't want to be a jerk, but....

Some really basic problems here. SEO? Not much. Links that work? Not really.

Talk to Doug and Corey by PM.

(I really like your demos) Embarrassed

Love the colour scheme. It's a nice looking site. I tested it on Firefox and IE and didn't have any problems with the demos.

Lookin' and soundin' great, Kendra...even on IE Windows 8! Smile I like the style, and this site seems so simple and clean but it's memorable. Congrats.

Kendra: I like the nice clean look and crisp graphics of your site. Your demos sound good. You have an impressive background. FYI when I click on the word "Commercial" or "Narration" below the sound bar it opens up the full flash window, which is my pet peeve. You then have to use the back arrow to return to the home page. I would maybe have a note to "click on soundbar to hear demo" or just put the "Commercial" and "Narration" below the bar as text. Sorry about the nit, nit, nit,...but I think that's what you want. I'm using Chrome with Vista Home Premium X64. Larry
