I did an archive search and didn't find much (nothing recent at lest) on voiceover podcasts. I was wondering if you all would recommend any voice over podcasts out there for staying "in the know" for things in the industry, marketing, techniques, etc.
Thanks! _________________ http://neilkhessvo.com |

There are a few that I check out regularly:
Crispin Freeman's Voice Over Mastery,
Voices.com's Voice Over Experts,
Talkin' Toons with Rob Paulsen
Voice Coaches Radio*
*VCR pulls double duty as an apparent shill for their in-studio training curriculum (to the tune of $3500+), as well as their 2-hour junior college travelling circus, "dare to be great," rah-rah session- extolling the virtues of anyone with a computer and a USB mic being the next Ted Williams. That said, they have some interesting marketing approaches for the legitimate talent, and they are prolific in their show catalog, to be sure. _________________ "Man is so made that whenever anything fires his soul, impossibilities vanish." - Jean de la Fontaine |

For me, Rob Paulsen's Talkin' Toons and VOBuzzWeekly are must listens every week. The recent episodes of VOBW that feature Pat Fraley and Nancy Wolfson are excellent.
If you're interested in radio station imaging or TV promo, The Producers' Podcast by Ryan Drain is excellent. I went back and listened to every episode from #1.
And of course, our very own George Whittam partners with Dan Lenard for EWABS (East West Audio Body Shop). The focus has typically been on recording technology, but lately they've been venturing into more general topics as well. Live on Sunday nights, and available anytime on YouTube. _________________ Graeme Spicer

Just recently discovered the Voice Over Cafe podcast. Learned some very important information about FreePlayMusic.com on the FaffCon 5 episode.
Also, check out Paul Strikwerda's blog (Double Dutch) & The Ramblings of SomeAudioGuy.
+1 on EWABS, VO Buzz Weekly, Talkin' Toons w/ Rob Paulsen, Crispin Freeman's VO Mastery & Bill DeWees YouTube channel. _________________ John LaPiana
