This week I had the pleasure of "working with" Rowell Gorman in much the same way as I have "worked with" William Shatner and Robert Vaughn in the past (the difference being I have actually had the pleasure of meeting Rowell in person). In other words, I recorded my part, he recorded his part, the other people recorded their parts, we all sent them in and the producer put everything together. But it was very cool to hear our voices back to back in the finished commercial. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

You haven't lived til you've worked with Rowell in person. He's a real gem, that guy.
And the assembled kitsch and memorabilia in his studio? Priceless. _________________ Don Brookshire

Rowell is one of the real ones. I've also had the pleasure of being directed by him then hearing the final. Textbook pro and real deal. _________________ Chris Mezzolesta, Voice Talent

I've "worked with" Rowell that way a number of times too, but on my VO bucket list is working in the same studio with him. What a blast that would be.

...wow. this long-distance love-fest was just what i needed this morning.
thank you.
'tis said the best praise is that which folds and goes in your wallet.
i'm not so sure that wouldn't take a back seat to the unsolicited praise of respected and talented people in one's own profession.
you've brightened my week. _________________ rowell gormon

That remains on my bucket list, as well, but having participated in one of his sessions at Faffcon is a close second, and "appearing" with him in a commercial is an equally close third. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

Rowell was a guiding hand in helping me edit my narration of a 72 part DVD series. He helped me correct all my mistakes but didn't point and laugh at me for the pages of boo-boos...at least that I could see.
I highly recommend him! _________________ - Peter

...my thanks.
peter and bob souer and a few others trust me to edit their work, if for no other reason than they know there will be no Celebrity Blooper Reels on ebay the following week. _________________ rowell gormon
