Greetings all,
Just a short note of kudos to all involved in making FaffCamp a great success from this tuba player's p.o.v. I learned so much during the main topic sessions, breakout sessions, and round table discussions,; lots of golden nuggets to be had by all. A huge thank you to Amy Snively and Lauren McCullough for their amazing organization skills, Bob Souer, Peter O'Connell and all of the presenters and 'mentors', Doug Turkel and Peter Bishop for being approachable and insightful. I am really glad I went, and I expect to have lots to do over the next many months with all that I learned and am inspired to do. Best of all, I'm so pleased to report that this group online of VO-BB'ers are in person just as they are on the board; generous and caring individuals willing to share their time and expertise. _________________ “Real freedom is freedom from the opinions of others. You took the words out of my mouth, Scott. It was so good to meet you! It was an amazing weekend, and I'm leaving feeling validated, challenged, inspired, and informed. So wonderful to see so many of you face to face. I can't thank everyone enough for being so generous and welcoming. _________________ www.juliaknippen.com

3am in the hotel lobby drinking our own booze (sound familiar?)... someone said "Ventura!"... and you were missed, Corey
I particularly enjoyed meeting several VO-BB members for the first time. Many of us feel that Faffing is, in many ways, the real-life version of VO-BBing... there is an immense crossover in people, but more importantly, in attitude. The sharing of knowledge is beneficial for everyone... but just as important is the community itself... and, for me, the way some friendships have moved from on-line to "real" is wonderful. _________________ Bish a.k.a. Most conferences I attend are far from anything like Faffing.
It was great to see all of you.
And sharing the booze in the lobby at 3am? Priceless.
If anybody found my flask of Grand Marnier, please hold onto it til San Antonio. _________________ Don Brookshire

What a weekend! I took a lot of great notes, met several vo-bb'ers in person, and tasted many brews...though I couldn't make it past midnight on any given night. |

Oh goody, Martha is here now too. You must make a thread to properly introduce yourself, Martha!
I was so so SO glad to be there and take part in everything and meet my wonderful VO-BBers!! I loved every bit of the busy-ness and didn't want it to end. So much to implement over the coming weeks and months.
And Peter, you neglected to mention the 2 am Lobby Yoga. That was pretty unforgettable, if you ask me! _________________ jen@jengosnell.com
