I HATE radio phone-in shows ARRRRRRRRRRGH!

The only thing I hate more than radio phone in can be lanced, drained and surgically dressed.

{insert a big grin and a bit of an audible chuckle here} I listened to a few minutes and have made a note that I must come back and listen more later when I have some time to stay with it.

Here in the states, except for Sports programmed stations, something of a new phenomena, there are hardly any phone-in shows left. Some pretend to be, but by the time the screeners get through weeding through the candidates, they just as well not take any calls. Just let the "host" talk and ramble.

I hosted a call-in show a number of years ago. The times and the audience was driving it in the direction of today's American version of Talk radio, but I was devious and a malcontent. We had days that mirrored the program you linked.

That was one of my favorite parts. I still can't stop laughing at the character's pronunciation, something to work into the improv show sometime.

Thanks for sharing the show. I don't know of anything like it here. It reminded me of the show "Come Fly With Me" that we've caught on Netflix. Good stuff.
