When was the first episode of "Dr. Who"? 1963 you say? Poppycock I say! The origins of Dr. Who go back to 1888 and the fertile mind of H.G. Wells who wrote a short story about a doctor who travels through time in a machine. From that tale came H.G.'s more famous "Time Machine" and of course, The Doctor himself. Hear the story live as the Willamette Radio Workshop performs this and two more great scifi pieces at the UFO Festival in McMinnville, Oregon this Saturday at 3. Sam A. Mowry directs a fun cast including yours truly. Details below. The famous UFO parade starts at 1pm. Bring your aluminum foil!
