Would this popfilter http://www.amazon.com/Stedman-Corporation-Proscreen-100-4-6/dp/B007RMESGG/ref=pd_rhf_se_p_t_3_54QA work with my NT1-A shock mount? : http://www.amazon.com/Rode-NT1A-Anniversary-Condenser-Microphone/dp/B002QAUOKS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374016234&sr=8-1&keywords=rode+nt1-a

I'm not even sure what to look for frankly to see if they would work together. Or would I be better off just attaching this to my mic stand?

I just had to do a radio commercial for "Hobo Tounge-K Pizza"...yeah made me think my old pop-filter might need an upgrade. Laugh

Get a pop-screen you can attach anywhere, either with a clip or screw clamp.

Yes...it should work. The NT1a mount is standard mic clip threaded. Just remove the top section of the pop filter (leaving the 2" metal extension piece) and thread the pop filter onto the end of the extension.

This assumes that the pop filter has the standard mic threads as well. It looks like it does though.

A bit of change in your mic technique would be just as good though. I use a modded NT1a with the stock pop filter and never have an issue.

Yeah, I have been trying to find a YouTube video on how to, I think it is called, "Swallow your B's and P's" but with no luck. If anyone has a link that explains how to do that, I would love to have it posted.

Thanks!

Get one of these. Smaller and just as effective as a regular pop screen.

It's all about mic technique... Positioned properly you should have no popping. Not that you wanted to know this based on initial question, just my 2 cents. [/img]
