Only the strong survive
Actually, this serves as a nice reminder that these things don't run and pay for themselves... time to put a few bucks in the hat!
Deebs... the Paypal donate button still doesn't appear on the subSilver theme. I had to go into the Comic theme to access it... my eyes may take a while to recover _________________ Bish a.k.a. Bish

That joke will always live on.
And it was classy of Julie to mention DB and recommend this board in the farewell announcement she sent out last month. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

It was an interesting mention. (And TOB or TOF usually meant VO Savvy or whatever the heck it was. No matter— the VO-BB shall prevail.)
We are all-volunteer here, and I think Julie had some paid staff.
I am not sure where I could put a link on the sub-silver theme index page, but it's worth looking into.
This place kind of runs like Public Radio. It's here when you need it, and most people don't really think about how it is here— it just is.
There have been 10 contributions to the VO-BB "fund" so far in 2013, with 9 of them occurring in the first quarter of the year. Every tiny bit is helpful. The cost of keeping this place online is well taken care of, and the little trickles of generosity go to the admin-moderators who keep the sails trimmed and the rudder steady. This little bit of kindness makes us feel valued, so thank you all. _________________ DBCooperVO.com

Watch out. Next thing you know, we'll have Pledge Week! All the posts you want to read will be replaced with links to insipid musical acts and hack psychologists. Aaack! _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

And there's a "swag shop" too? Man, I miss so much over here on subSilver
Thanks so much for all you do to make this board possible, DB!
And now, back to Vaudeville Accordion Classics: The Complete Works of Guido Deiro. We'll be featuring the music of Guido until we meet our goal for this hour. _________________ “Real freedom is freedom from the opinions of others. Above all, freedom from your opinions about yourself. ”

Thank you all for you generosities!
The swag shop has been much ignored in recent times.
Is anyone interested in VO-BB swag? _________________ DBCooperVO.com

I'd be interested in one of those Women's Shirts if it came with the right woman. _________________ Lee Gordon, O.A.V.

How about a t-shirt that folks could wear to VO events? it could be gender neutral

I would be happy to purchase a piece of swag or two - a shirt or button I could wear to cons or a water bottle I could keep in my studio, or some other such.
And as a serial forgetter, I wouldn't mind an annual "pledge" reminder, either. _________________ Kendra Hoffman
