Hey all. Just thought I'd throw this everyone's way. Musician's Friend is having a Friday the 13th sale, and they are doing a "Stupid Deal of The Hour" sale instead of the day.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/stupid/?src=3TP3JDD

Here is a set of studio monitors for a stupid price! They aren't the best in the biz, but if you are looking for monitors, you sure can't beat $120 shipped for a pair of decent powered monitors.

This deal is only good for the next hour Smile Refresh the page every hour to see what they are selling.

I actually already ordered that Laugh LOL. I am an avid guitar player, and have wanted to mess with the Uke for a while. It's not a great Uke, but I can handle $40 for a decent little instrument.

I also picked up the Antares Mic Mod EFX plugin for $20...just to see how it works. I'll be posting a test sample to see what ya'll (especially those who know their mics) think.

My son has taught himself the ukulele and now owns 3 of them.

I love me some 10 year old Koa. Some of the best sounding wood when it isn't new anymore. The one on Musician's Friend is Nato...which is similar to Mahogany, but not nearly as refined (to my ear). It sure won't sound like an old Koa Uke, but it'll be fine for me to enjoy myself around the studio.
