Do you like the Pablo soundbite before you enter VO-BB.com, or do you think it's annoying?

I don't like splash pages in general that talk to you...

In this case I never enter the site from the splash page. But when I am using a new browser or for some reason go to the splash page, I do have to turn the sound down first.

Before I finally figured out the site's interface, (with the kind help of some folks on here - thank you very much) I kept clicking on the large blue VO-BB logo in the upper left...hoping that it would save me.

Instead...I was treated to an "encore" of the audio you're referring to....

I will withhold my reaction to "the voice" when that happened ...and leave it to your imagination.

But....I too...NEVER Hear it anymore. I have a link on my browser that takes me straight to the INDEX page.

You've been here, what— 5 weeks?
Any other gripes? The color of the curtains? The carpet?
The time the cafe opens in the morning?

You might wish to consider who made that splash page before posting a poll to complain about it.

Just sayin'.

Asking about it is nicer than bitching.

By the way, if someone ever does have to use a new browser or something to get here, those little words that say "this way to the VO-BB" are a clickable link to this board. It gets you right in.

What?... We have a cafe!!... I never got an email about it!

I've been putting $5 a week into the coffee mess and now you tell me we have a cafe!! I should have known the coffee mess money was going into something else... it certainly wasn't being used to replace those cheesy curtains or the stained carpet.

Apparently it's a plague.

And Jim, those damned llamas keep eating the voile, so I gave up on nice curtains as long as those beasts still have the run of the downstairs.

Sure... always blame the llamas! And nobody says anything about the orangutan hanging from the tire in the stairwell. Diane thought it was so cute when she brought it here three years ago. Now it weighs 85 pounds!

Splash page, yeah, the llama soaks me everytime. You'd think I'd learn. What happened to the watercress? Oh, I found it behind the chocolate. At least I hope its chocolate.
