Filmation Studios founder Lou Scheimer has passed at age 84.

Filmation was responsible for such saturday morning gems as He-Man and She-Ra, The New Adventures of Superman, The Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure, The Archie Show, Lassie's Rescue Rangers, Star Trek (the cartoon), Tarzan Lord of the Jungle, Jason of Star Command, and Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, along with many others.

In addition to providing work for quite a number of voice actors over the years, Lou also voiced quite a few characters on those shows, including Fat Albert character Dumb Donald.
