|

Hey v/o brethren,
Need some advice here. I have a dedicated sound booth from which I record most of my projects and I also have another mic at my control
panel which I use to handle auditions, etc. It doesn't have the luxury of
sound proofing like my booth, but it doesn't sound too bad. My question is, how can I use my Avalon 737 preamp for both mics? I'm hesitant about inserting another device within the signal chain but I may have to use a mixer or switcher of some sort. Any suggestions?
thanks! |

I've been using one of these.

But as I look at the tiny print near the top...I see Soundcraft no longer makes it.
Still, Soundcraft puts nice pre's in their consoles. _________________ www.voiceoverdrew.com

Although I have a full head of hair, I'm quite ribald. |

That's too bad, because that is one very good mixer. Top quality for sure.
I had the Power Pad version of it - a powered mixer - but recently gave it and the monitor speakers to the local elementary school because, as a powered mixer it had a fan inside and the fan was beginning to make just a little bit of noise. |
