Predates the 2i2, but reasonably clean and quiet for its era. Interface takes some adjusting to, but solid gear. I seem to remember Chuck may have used one at one point...
2i2 is the budget end of the Scarlett line. Simple, but effective.
For better pre's and converters, look at the Forte, which uses the RedNet pre's and converters. Likewise, it's big button interface also takes some getting used to.
