Welcome. You will laugh and learn a bunch, as we all have, I am sure.

Does he NOT see/notice the pretty lady behind him? Wink

That's his identical twin brother, Alan. To be fair, Allen is the more identical of the two.

Welcome Rob,

As you can see, we're an eclectic, fun-loving, verbose, and friendly group. 'Sounds like you've got an excellent start.

Your sales experience (however troubled) may serve you well as a self-marketer.
The voice, the equipment, and the attitude can all be great, but it means squat if you don't know how to get your work noticed.

Good luck!

I usually do! Laugh That pic was taken at my wife's 30 year class reunion and I was tired...tired from decorating, taking the pictures and drinking too much Wink (not really...I didn't drink that much...but I was buzzin').

Peter, oh..yeah...I knew she was there all along! That's my wife, Pam.

Phil, I left Alan at home...he causes too much trouble when he goes out Foot in Mouth

Welcome Rob and a big HOWDY!!! from Beaumont/Port Arthur- formerly being from Houston I know you (unfortunately)know where that is( I DON'T like living here.)

This really is a FANTASTIC group of Professionals & Characters here on this board. I say Professionals-because that REALLY sums it up, and I say CHARACTERS because that really sums it up- THEY'RE BOTH !!!!!!!!
VERY good at what they do, also VERY wiliing to help you out,AAANNND as Allen said of Mike-" DUUDE- some of these people are NOT right !!! LOL

BTW- Allen, not many other people on the board will know where OPP,AL is-
BUT I DO !!!!!!! Just go out the back gate of Fort Rucker and in a little while you'll be there. However- I must admit knowing where OPP is, nowhere even COMPARES, to going to Enterprize and seeing the Statue of the Boll Weavel !!!! LOL LOL

Hey Don, Yeah, not many know where O p p is. It's just a flyspeck on the map, but I call it home. I do like the small town life. It's nice and easy Wink

Enterprise is a nice city...I worked at the Enterprise radio station, WKMX back in 1989. My wife and I go to Enterprise and hit some of the shops and also pass through there going to Dothan quite often.

Hey thanks for the Texas welcome... I did weekend graveyard shift at KZFX/Z107 Classic Rock in Houston around 1990-1992...if you were out partying late nite around then, listenin' to Classic Rock you may remember the Z....if not, oh well it's been off the air now for about 12 years....Beaumont/Port Arthur is off course, I think, the birthplace of Janis Joplin AND country singer Mark Chestnut! (of "Bubba Shot the Jukebox" fame)

Looks more like her 30th birthday than her 30-year school reunion. She must have graduated awful young.

And welcome, Rob! There may be other VO boards out there, but this one is the coolest.

Actually, given the size of Opp it's a bit scary to me that so many people here on the board know where it is and have been there.

Better disable your smilies in that last post there, Brian.

It looks like Opp is a disgruntled pirate.
