A non-scientific in less than silent office (real-world home VO studio scenario) test for you microphone lovers.
CAD e70 (cardioid)
Sennheiser 416
Audio Technica AT875r
Oktava MC012 (3 capsules)

I'm using the mic preamp in my Allen & Heath XB10 and normalized each sample to -3dB for level matching. I didn't touch the gain control on the mixer.

Thanks for the test...for my ears

#1 416 3d, clear
#2 Oktava cardioid a little mellower than 416

I like small diaphragm mics for VO. They do require good mic technique.

I'd like to hear a Mictotech Gefell M295 and a Sennheiser MKH-50.
