..from the Indiegogo campaign? I haven't heard if they've shipped yet or are in the process.

Haven't gotten mine, but it'll probably take a couple more weeks to make it to Japan. I did get my shirt, though!

Haven't seen any updates about shipping on the Centrance or Indiegogo pages, either.

I spoke with Michael Goodman at NAB, he said the are looking at July now because they revised the design due to demand to add limiters and guitar hi-z input functions to the unit. He said it took a major redesign to shoe-horn in the additional features, and the unit I saw had switches added to the bottom panel.

It looks like a great little product and something I am now strongly considering.

But looking at the website, what exactly is a "boutique" mic preamp?

If I'm not mistaken, Mackie describes their onyx preamps the same way.

That's a little disappointing about the delay. While I'm excited about the additions, ( I was one of folks who demanded Hi-Z) you'd think they'd send some kind of notification or update to their "early bird" contributors considering the 3-month difference in projected delivery.

I'm sure it'll be worth the wait, though Smile

On an unrelated note, DeadDillo, where is that awesome quote in your signature from? Sounds very Vonnegutish

It's a Buddhist saying but it sure could have come from Vonnegut.

I'm still trying to work out whether Vonnegut was at my high school graduation. I suspect he was.

Speak of the devil! Just got an update from Centrance. They expect to ship out in June.

That sounds kind of cheeky for a Buddhist saying, but I like it nonetheless!

Lee, as a presenter, or a student? Haha, either way that'd be pretty cool!
