Well this is a first!
You know that's it's always good practice for VOs to give options on lines and multiple takes for a producer, as opposed to just reading scripts once? Well I've just been forwarded an email from a client to the the producer (small community station) saying that weren't sure why the first line was read 4 times!!!
I politely replied to the producer, explaining that was for her benefit to give her options. She left them all in and made the ad!!! #FFS _________________ https://www.darrenaltman.com/

That can work in certain situations. What was the ad about? |

It was about 4 times longer than they originally planned!

OMG! Want to laugh til you pee yourself? Read the comments below the "Head On" YouTube link Dillo posted:
..So I apply it to my knee right?
Directions not clear enough. Head is stuck in car door.
We need a gun commercial with the same motto.
Where do I apply?
... and many others I can't post here! _________________ Scott R. Pollak

I wonder if they sell this thing on Amazon...
why yes... but the comments are not nearly so entertaining as the guy on Youtube who had ... um... intimate problems with a toaster despite using the product. _________________ Charter Member: Threadjackers Local 420 |

Maybe your advert was for a drag racing strip. I haven't heard one this way for ages but they used to start, "SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY, at BeeLine Dragway..." or some such.
