I’ve had this very nice preamp for about 2 years, used it in my non-smoking, no-pets studio without a single issue or problem. If you’re reading this, you probably have read all the hype about how good this is for the money – one of the very best you can buy under $500. Well I went further with mine and paid $225 to have it modded by the amazing Jim Williams.(See http://www.audioupgrades.com/) in July 2012. Mr. Williams described the results as “The results are smoother top end, less harshness, a fatter deeper low end and less noise. Top end details also open up nicely. Regards, Jim Williams” My ears tell me the same.

I’m selling it because I simply don’t use it very often and want to see it go to a good home. It has been replaced by a $1K+ boutique channel strip from the UK that I like better with my voice.

These seem to sell for around $350 used on eBay. Considering the $225 of mods, my asking price is $450. I have the original box/manuals/shipping box. I much prefer PayPal, and I'll handle the fees. Insured shipping to the lower 48 states is on me (sorry, I won't sell outside the US).
