New (Since April 9, 2014) Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 drivers are finally here. Get them, 2i2 users, because the old ones were stanky ol' garbaggio. I just uninstalled the old ones and installed this, and now I can (finally!) record at 48kHz and even 96kHz. Still can't jump from internet sound to Adobe Audition sound, but hey...

This applies to Windows users only, since it's a Mac USB Class Compliant device. _________________ If it sounds good, it is good.

Gee. I wonder if that'll work with mine 'cause I can only record in 16bit 48k and possibly in 24bit 44.1. I CANNOT record in 16/44.1 or in 24/48. Do you use the 2i2 with Sound Forge Lance? |

Give it a shot - just completely uninstall the previous driver first. I did that using CCleaner.
Before I could only record in 44/16 but I could wrangle it up to 48/16 by resetting every conceivable audio setting in my computer.
Now, I can record 96/32-float (although I suspect it's really recording at 16-bit as I've seen some discussion that it doesn't 'really' do 24-bit or 32-float).
I'm using Adobe Audition 3. _________________ Skype: globalvoiceover
