Truly a broadcasting icon.
Such a shame that the latter part of his life was filled with such turmoil and he was robbed of his voice by dementia.
Life can be a cruel and unforgiving thing. _________________ www.MarleyAudio.com |

Debuting at #1 in Heaven, is a broadcasting legend you all might also know...as the voice...of Shaggy. More coming up, right after the break.

Caysey leaves behind a style which younger people who never heard him in real-time can appreciate through his recordings. But there may be another legacy in the making. Just this morning the story in my local daily included the details I had not heard or read earlier.... words I heard for the first time back in January.. and it wasn't a happy, joyous occasion. LEWY BODY DEMENTIA.
Hopefully the people who create support groups and funding in search of cures will be able to capture the popularity and enthusiasm of Casey to become an image of the drive to better understand, treat, and maybe someday cure LEWY BODY DEMENTIA. |
