NT-1000 have a bit more advanced electronics and better quality components and is the solid-state version of the NTK tube mic. with 140db SPL (NT1 132db). My opinion it is a little cleaner with less distortion. I think it's a good recommendation from the sellers.

I recommend listening for yourself before trusting anyone else's opinion.... ESPECIALLY a salesman making minimum wage plus commission.
